Citizenship Resources
We are thrilled to announce as of February 2010 the launch of the free Citizenship resources for The Youth of Today .
Written by the Citizenship Foundation, the 6 lessons are available to download for all members of the Teachers' Zone. The lessons look directly at the link between citizenship and leadership and support students to become an active leader of change in their community, their school or their family and friend settings. Over the course of the lessons, the resources look at advocacy, decision making and building a network whilst providing interactive and innovative activities for students to engage with.
The resources directly address the key stage 3 curriculum and also meet the Every Child Matter agenda as well as the community cohesion and user voice agendas.
